This option allows you to
experience a diversity of diving while you are in South Africa.
You will have great shark encounters on Protea Banks and can
check out the reefs and wrecks of Aliwal Shoal.
Aliwal Shoal is a very popular
dive site along the Kwa Zulu Natal coastline with an estimated 40
000 dives recorded annually. The shoal has many shelves and
overhangs which provide great opportunities to view the varied
and colourful marine life of the area.

Day 1 |
|
You
will be met at the airport by an African Odyssea representative
who will transfer you to Hammerhead Lodge. It's an hours drive
along the scenic coastline from the airport to Shelly beach. Once you arrive
you can settle in and take a walk to the beach or the shopping
centre near by. |

Day 2 - Aliwal Shoal |
|
We will meet at our dive centre
early in the morning to go through the dive briefing and get
kit sorted out. We then take a 45 minute drive to Aliwal Shoal
for your first dives of the holiday. Between dives we will
have breakfast at "Sebastian's " restaurant near the dive
centre. The afternoon is yours to enjoy relaxing on the beach
or at the lodge. |

Day 3 - Aliwal Shoal |
|
We get going early in the morning
to be at Aliwal for the first dive of the day. Aliwal has some
amazing topography and reef life for your to explore. There are
also two wrecks, the Produce and the Nebo, which is home to some
very large groupers. We then head back to the lodge for a
relaxing afternoon or you can get involved in one of the many
local activities. |

Day 4 - Protea Banks |
|
Today you will be doing 2 shark
dives and experiencing all that Protea has to offer. This dive
site is action-packed, so keep your eyes peeled! After the dives we
will take you to have sundowners at Leopard Rock which overlooks
Oribi Gorge, bring your camera for this one, it's an awesome view. |

Day 5 - Protea Banks |
|
Another early morning start and head
out for Protea Banks for more awesome shark diving. Between dives
we will be having breakfast overlooking the beach at St Mikes
Cafe. The afternoon is yours to enjoy on the beach or catch a
movie at the local shopping centre. |

Day 6 - Protea Banks |
|
This is your last day of
diving and if you haven't seen a lot of sharks and big game fish
by now then you need more spit in your mask!. |

Day 7 |
|
Its time to say goodbye and after
what we hope has been a thrilling holiday for you we will
transfer you back to the airport for your flight home. |
