You will be met at the airport by an African Odyssea representative who will transfer you to Hammerhead Lodge. It's an hours drive along the scenic coastline from the airport to Shelly beach. Once you arrive you can settle in and take a walk to the beach or the shopping centre near by.

We make an early morning start to go through the dive briefing and get everybody up to speed on how we conduct the dives. The first dive on Protea always takes a little getting used to for the less experienced divers. After your second dive you'll feel right at home. Between dives we will have breakfast overlooking the sea at St Mikes cafe.

Another 2 exciting shark dives, not knowing what you will see on each dive keeps the anticipation high. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy. There are many activities available in the area including horse riding, golf, nature walks, bungee jumping and more.

We will be doing another 2 shark dives and experiencing all Protea has to offer. After the dives we will take you to have sundowners at Leopard Rock which overlooks Oribi Gorge, bring your camera for this one, it's an awesome view.

Yet another 2 dives with the sharks and hopefully you would have seen most of the species that occur on Protea. If you are really lucky you could be one of the few people who have seen the Protea Big 5, Ragged-Tooth, Hammerhead, Zambezi, Tiger and Great White.

This is your last day's diving and by now you should be well acquainted with a few big Zambezi's on the reef.

It's time to say goodbye and after what we hope has been a thrilling holiday for you we will transfer you back to the airport for your flight home.
